Founder & Executive Director

Hawa Gray-Smith is the Founder and Executive Director of Carenthic Global Inc. Her passion for education and developing others began in childhood, where she taught neighborhood children in Liberia who were unable to attend school. After immigrating to the United States at the age of ten, she experienced firsthand how education, mentorship, and opportunity can transform lives.

Inspired by her return to Liberia more than two decades later, Hawa founded Carenthic Global to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. Witnessing talented young people and aspiring entrepreneurs struggle due to limited access to training, mentorship, professional networks, and resources strengthened her commitment to creating lasting pathways to success.

Today, Hawa leads Carenthic Global with a vision of empowering youth, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders through education, practical skills development, mentorship, and innovation, helping build stronger communities across Liberia and Africa.
